Dear Friends, We are pleased to invite you to participate and contribute to the Seminar, Reconciliation and the Healing of Nations—The Voices of "We the Peoples…" that will take place on Friday, 5 June, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. in the 2nd floor Conference Room of the United Nations Church Center on 1st Avenue and 44th Street. Inspired by this year's UN International Year of Reconciliation, which, when first introduced into the General Assembly, was referred to as a vehicle for creating a fraternal human society, based on values such as truth and justice and restoring the unity of humanity, this Seminar will feature keynote talks, sacred music, discussion and meditation. It is being held within the 5-day radius of World Invocation Day, which this year occurs on Sunday, June 7th. Since 1952 World Invocation Day has been observed as a global day of spiritual healing. It is a Day, which brings attention to the fact of the Oneness of Humanity and humanity's common spiritual striving towards higher realms of consciousness. Further information about World Invocation Day is available in the indicated website links below. The Seminar will feature the voices of "we the peoples"—the preamble concept of the Charter of the United Nations. Your participation and contribution to this effort will be most welcome and appreciated and some suggestions for the many ways in which you can contribute to this initiative—from participating in person to joining in subjective meditation, can be found here. Please share this letter with others who you think would like to participate and contribute to the healing of nations. We look forward to seeing you at the Seminar and/or hearing from you. In loving service,
